Ommlo — Privacy Policy

Ommlo is a wellness sound app for iOS, built by Huladyne Labs, LLC. This policy explains what data Ommlo handles and how.

The short version

Ommlo does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything the app stores lives on your device and stays on your device.

What Ommlo stores on your device

Preferences: Your settings (Lab Mode toggle, auto-log toggle, post-session check-in toggle, last-played preset, favorites list, which presets you've tried). Stored in iOS UserDefaults on your device.
Journal entries: If you have auto-logging enabled, sessions of two minutes or more are recorded locally — the date, preset name, duration, and your optional rating and notes. Stored in a local SwiftData database on your device.
Saved patterns: If you create custom sound patterns in Lab Mode, they are saved locally on your device.

What Ommlo does NOT do

No account creation or login
No data transmitted to any server — ever
No cloud sync or backup
No analytics, tracking, or telemetry
No third-party SDKs or libraries that collect data
No advertising or ad identifiers
No health data exported to Apple Health or any external system
No microphone, camera, location, or contacts access

iCloud backups

iOS may include app data in iCloud backups if you have device backups enabled. This is controlled by your iOS settings, not by Ommlo.

Data deletion

Deleting the Ommlo app from your device removes all stored data (preferences, journal entries, saved patterns). There is nothing to delete on our end because we never had your data.

Children

Ommlo does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children under 13, and therefore complies with COPPA requirements.

CCPA, GDPR, and similar laws

Because Ommlo collects no personal data, there is no personal information to disclose, sell, or process under the CCPA, GDPR, or similar data protection laws.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
